Master mental skills for sports success and confidence.
I’m Lindsay Beaudreau, a Certified Mental Performance Coach through Play Big Academy and former Div. I swimmer at the University of Kentucky.
I partner with athletes, parents, and coaches to develop the mental skills and routines that build confidence, improve performance, and help athletes thrive on and off the field.

An athlete's physical, technical, and tactical skills are only as strong as the mental foundation they rest on. When that foundation is solid, performance flows with confidence and consistency. But when it's weak, skills become vulnerable to stress, emotion, and doubt—leading to unpredictable results.
Mental performance training helps athletes develop the psychological tools to perform at their best—consistently. Through structured strategies like goal setting, focus control, confidence building, emotional regulation, and visualization, athletes learn to manage pressure, bounce back from setbacks, and compete with clarity and purpose.

For the most part, individual sessions are done virtually via google meet. Small groups and team sessions are currently only offered in person at a location provided by the team.
Sessions typically go 40-45 minutes.
It depends on the athlete! I know... not that helpful, but in truth some athletes will connect with mental skills training (and me) and others may not and that's ok! It's actually why we start with that free introductory session, so you can decide if it's a good fit all around.
I chose the name Mind Your Business because in sport, the mind truly is your business. It’s the space you compete from. It’s where confidence is built and where doubt can take hold. It’s the difference between tightening up under pressure and stepping into your moment. A strong mind carries you through slumps, setbacks, long seasons, and high expectations. It’s not something you're simply born with—you train it, stretch it, and protect it.
The second meaning is just as important. In today’s world, comparison is endless. Social media, rankings, highlight reels—it's easy to get caught up in what everyone else is doing. But high-performing athletes know how to tune out the noise. They stay grounded in their own work. They mind their business—meaning their growth, their habits, their choices, their response to adversity.
This name is your reminder:
Your progress is personal. Your path is your own.
When you take ownership of your mind and your process, the game changes.
"Lindsay has helped me with my confidence, handling pressure, competing strongly, and becoming the best version of myself. As a collegiate athlete, I have been so blessed to have Lindsay help me with my mental game. She came into my life at the biggest time, and shortly after, completely changed my perspective on the game and even life.
I will always be forever grateful for how she has changed my life."
"Lindsay has been a game changer for my 12-year-old pitcher. My daughter has always been confident on the mound, but the ability to calm the noise and center her space is what Lindsay has helped fine tune when taking the field. She is focused, she takes the time to center herself, she does her affirmations and protects her space when in "the bubble". She always knew what she wanted when going into pitch but didn't know how to use the tools and when to put them into practice to help her play her best game. Lindsay has been instrumental in taking her from a confident pitcher to a calm, levelheaded pitcher that shakes off the hit and gets back to the next play."
"Lindsay has been an asset for our three teenage athletes, a 17-yr old daughter and 13 and 16 yr old sons. Lindsay tailored her program to meet each kid where they were at the moment. We have recommended Lindsay to several families, of which at least 5 athletes have worked with Lindsay to assist with their performance in their sport. She has been a massive asset for our children. Her knowledge and skill set allows her to work with various ages and multiple sports. We highly recommend Lindsay."
"After a difficult 3 for 20 start at the plate in his freshman season, my son then went 11 for 17 with Lindsay's help. By changing his mental approach at the plate and developing an understanding that he doesn't control the outcome of the at-bat, he saw success in situations that eluded him earlier in the season. "
"Lindsay's work with our Varsity Soccer Keeper daughter was extremely valuable in providing her with a framework for in-game resets, and pregame anxiety. We saw big progress in how she responded to goals scored against her. Lindsay helped her develop her leadership skills when she or the team faced adversity. "
"Initially we were hesitant to have our 13-yr old baseball player work with Lindsay, however, she helped him develop a mental in-game reset plan and helped him implement a positive self-talk strategy that were specific to his age. Last spring he aged up into a new league with a difficult coach. Lindsay assisted him to learn to re-frame results so he could develop a new understanding of what defines success in baseball. He also learned to see himself as his favorite superhero by changing his persona when he entered the field. This mental technique helped him overcome the noise he heard from the dugout."
